Tapered roller bearing as wheel bearing

Tapered roller bearings support heavy loads whilst requiring very little space and have good curved path behavior. Over the last 100 years, they have become established as the conventional wheel bearing supports for commercial vehicles.

Disadvantages of conventional bearing supports

Regular dismantling of the wheel end due to brake maintenance has the following negative effects on the life of rolling bearings:
